Hi! I'm Mauro.

I'm a software engineer currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I fell in love with code at a young age, coding in C with my father. I went on to build CNC machines with discarded computer parts when I was studying electronics and making their software was incredibly satisfying. I pursued computer science and telecommunications engineering at university simultaneously, while working a full-time job. I achieved great academic accolades, ranging from meritorious scholarships to TA positions in multiple disciplines, and I even graduated with honors as an engineer.
My career progressed reaching the role of Technical Manager in charge of a group of talented engineers.

Then, the pandemic made me reevaluate some aspects of my professional career and rediscover my love for building, so I started to transition to my true passion, writing beautiful software. I've been freelancing since then and building web applications predominantly using the MERN (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS and NodeJS) stack.
